Hi, I’m Natalie!
I’m a designer at the intersection of social justice and culture. Driven by storytelling, I work in a variety of media: visual design, web design, video, and motion. I adapt and learn new skills as stories shift between forms, extending reach.
My experience in designing for non-profits and start-ups means I’m fully involved from ideation to launch. I like to build ideas from the ground up, test research-based strategies, and iterate quickly. My practice applies the design thinking method to examine social issues. How can we use design to visualize an issue, find new connections, and deepen shared knowledge? My process is embedded in research, co-design with communities, and centering people. My goal is to use design to empower communities.
In my free time, I love creative writing, concert-hopping, and indie music :)
